This is my submission for the last food photography assignment on DPS, it was on beverages. I’ve really enjoyed participating in the assignments this month and I hope they do more on food in the future…

I’d never contributed to any photography assignments at the Digital Photography School forums before, but when they started a month of Food Photography I thought I’d give it a go…this was my first submission and the subject was Desserts.

This was taken in the Organic Farm Shop that I shot my Food Glorious Food ephotobook in for the SoFoBoMo 09 project. I love the way the light is shining through the bottles from outside.

Here’s the missing eggs from the egg boxs… I love the simplicity of this shot and the light.

These piles of empty egg boxes where in an organic farm I visited. I loved the rustic look of the place and the way it set the food off.

This is another image that I shot for my SoFoBoMo project last year, a cup of coffee and shortbread biscuits (my favourites).

Slices of cucumber. I love the detail I can get with my camera – Canon Rebel XSi on these types of shots, it really makes the food stand out.
